Alessandra Perri

Alessandra Perri is Associate Professor at the Department of Management of Ca’ Foscari University (Venice) and the John H. Dunning Visiting Fellow at the John H. Dunning Centre for International Business of Henley Business School, University of Reading. Alessandra has been a visiting scholar at the Department of Strategic Management at Temple University (Philadelphia, USA) and at the Center for Strategic Management and Globalization of Copenhagen Business School (Denmark). She earned her PhD at Luiss Guido Carli University (Rome) and she worked as post-doc fellow at the Department of Business Administration of Carlos III University (Madrid, Spain).

Her research focuses on innovation and knowledge sourcing strategies in multinational firms and their subsidiaries, FDI-mediated technology spillovers, emerging countries’ technological catch-up and global innovation networks. For her research, she received several recognitions, including the EIBA Best Doctoral Thesis Proposal in International Business Award, the Academy of International Business (AIB)-UK & Ireland Chapter Palgrave Macmillan Best Paper Award, the Multinational Business Review 2015 Outstanding Paper Award, and the International Business Review 2014 Best Paper Award. Alessandra’s research work has appeared in various journals, including the Journal of International Business Studies, the Journal of World Business, Industrial and Corporate Change, the International Business Review, the International Journal of Management Reviews, and the Multinational Business Review among others.
